Anthony Barrois brings to his new role 33 years of experience in import/export terminal operations and full-service barge fleeting. He began his career in the early 90s working as an operator, dock foreman, and traffic dispatcher for United Bulk Terminals in Davant, Louisiana. Building on that experience, over the next two decades Barrois advanced to operations supervisor and then operations superintendent for United Bulk. From 2019 to 2020, he served as the operations manager for United Bulk and Host Terminals and then went on to work as a terminal manager for Continental Cement and a terminal manager/facility security officer for Cooper Consolidated.

In a career that spans three decades, Barrois has developed a keen understanding of the river and the logistics industry on the lower Mississippi River. He parlayed his port/dockside experience and equipment operating skills into roles managing stevedoring operations and inventory processing as well as positions directing terminal operations and barge and vessel loading/unloading operations.
